The kick-off meeting of the BrineRIS project, was held online on 30 – 31st March 2022.
The project main objective is to . Dr Magdalena Worsa-Kozak from Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, WUST is the project coordinator. BrineRIS partners are: Politechnika Wrocławska (Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, WUST, Agencia Estatal Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Cientificas CSIC (Spanish National Research Council), University of Miskolc, Ghent University, Technische Universität Bergakademie Freiberg (TUBAF), European Lithium Insitute (eLi), Geologian tutkimuskeskus, GTK (Geological Survey of Finland, Redstone Exploration Services Sp. z o.o., KGHM Polska Miedz Spółka Akcyjna and Vulkan Energie Ressourcen GmbHf.
Partners presentations and also organizative issues, project priorities, workplan and workpackages tasks and coordination were discussed. A schedule of the upcoming project activities and tasks was defined.
Presentations from the different BrineRIS partners covered the expertise, facilities and plans of the partners with regard to the BrineRIS project as part of the work sessions of the meeting.
Next BrineRIS general meeting will be held in 2022 in Wroclaw September 27-29,2022.
