BrineRIS is committed to the continued development of its members and strong cooperation between partners, which is why the last few days were an intensive period of study visit at the Geological Survey of Finland (GTK) / Geologian tutkimuskeskus (GTK), which hosted a team from the Wroclaw University of Science and Technology in Kuopio.
During the three-day meeting, there was an exchange of knowledge and experience on lithium recovery technology from geothermal brines between the participants. GTK presented its many laboratories and, with the Wroclaw University of Science and Technology team, discussed processes and methods for recovering selected elements from ores and brines, together with the possibility of their implementation into the BrineRIS project.
We are proud of such strong cooperation between the partners and hope it will contribute to the project’s success.
