The Second Business Breakfast with EIT RawMaterials is behind us! Almost 90 participants attended the event, seven speeches in the “share an idea” session, five presentations, and as many as 3-panel discussions!
The Project Coordinator, Magdalena Worsa-Kozak presented the BrineRIS project’s goals, opportunities, and achievements. BrineRIS also hosted the panel discussion on possible renewable energy, metal recovery, and hydrogen production synergies in Poland. Adam Smolinski from GIG Główny Instytut Górnictwa, Paweł Łapacz from Stowarzyszenie Energetyki Obywatelskiej Ziemi Świdnickiej and Ewa Knapik from AGH Kraków were our guests discussing the future of Polish critical raw materials and energy sectors.
A significant step towards the project’s future was taken during the event! The letter of cooperation between the BrineRIS Project and the CompLithium Project, led by Ewa Knapik from AGH University of Krakow has been signed! From now on, the two projects have been working on common goals, mutual exchange of knowledge, and even better recognition of issues related to lithium extraction from liquid solutions.
