In August 2023, the CSIC team and local co-workers carried out a sampling survey at an old mining exploration borehole. The sampling site is located in Sierra Almagrera (Almeria, Spain) and is part of the old and abandoned mining area. Previous mine brine sampling activities were carried out in different surveys in in old mine shafts throughout 2023 in order to confirm brines geochemistry published data. The samples were sent initially to IGME-CSIC labs for analysis and also to BrineRIS partners to perform lab tests on CRM potential recovery from brines.<\/p>\n\n\n
